The former Fiorentina striker has remarked on AS Roma’s strength and believes that the club will be going for the victory against the reigning Italian champions.
Juventus and Roma face each other off at the home of the Turin giants, the Juventus stadium, on Sunday. The match has always been a hotly contested match and there has been a lot of media coverage being given to the fixture which sees the Giallorossi take
on the Turin giants for the first time during the 2012-13 campaign.
There is great optimism from the Roman outfit, after Zdenek Zeman took over the reins from Luis Enrique. However, they have had a slightly indifferent start to the season, with their most notable victory coming against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan, who they humbled 3-1 away
at the San Siro.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pablo-Osvaldo-c28996 was talking to the press and harboured supreme confidence in the abilities of his team that they would be able to compete and be victorious against the Turin outfit. He remarked that it will be a game eagerly contested between two of the top
teams in Italian football and mentioned that they will be looking to fulfil the aspirations of their fans to overcome the Bianconeri.
The striker has already scored at the Juventus Stadium, but that was during his days a former Viola striker, and he is hoping to do the same in the shirt of I Lupi.
The assembled media asked the striker of which strikers he admires of the opposition and who he would want to come to Roma, and he went on to reply:
“I really like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603, so he’s had his turn! Did Juventus want me in the summer? I don’t know, I only read that in the papers.”
He has given due respect to the Turin outfit and remarked:
“We are going for the win against Juventus, as we have a great squad and we can get the victory. What can we achieve this season? I’m a dreamer, but I don’t know if we’re targeting the title.”
