Otakon????

Question

Is Otakon really that great? cuz i have to decide whether i want ot go or not. I have a friend that has space for me in his room... but I'm gonna have to hang around him and all his friends the whole time since i'm getting a ride with him up there and I dont think I can navigate the convention on my own... It's gonna be uncomfortable for me... but I really really wanna go to Otakon. I've never been! So I wanna know if it's better than other cons or if it's not that great so i can decide whether i want to pay to get into that room... anyone have an opinion?

I've never attended previous years, but I've had many friends who have and who have always given positive feedback of their experience. =) So, if you enjoy the huge convention scene, I can't imagine why you would dislike Otakon. (I believe it's actually been cited as the second largest anime convention in the U.S, behind AX. o_0)



I'm finally able to go this year and quite excited about it, actually. I really do recommend that you go, too. They have some amazing guests announced so far with more on the way. =)

Seems you didn't get an answer so I guess I'll answer for you. In all honestly I love Otakon, I've been attending since '03 and it never ceases to amaze me. The only downfall really is the long lines to get in. You should most definitely go it's a great experience, don't miss out. ^^ <3
