Question:

Other birth control methods for acne besides the pill?

I was on the pill for a few years and had mild acne. I have been single for 6 months now.I stopped taking my birth control because I haven't been sexually active, but now my acne has gotten worse! I want to start birth control again to help with my acne, but I hate to be on the pill again. It's so annoying to take a pill everyday. Has anyone had luck with controlling acne with any other forms of birth control?

  1. The patch is weekly and the Nuva Ring is monthly, and both gave me clear skin, beacue they both have the estrogen in it.

Now I'm on the Mirena IUD, which doesn't have the estrogen in it, and now my face is back to normal, with break-outs every once in a while.

Now, keep in mind, the patch and the ring are a lot more money, but I guess it's the price to pay for the convenience of getting rid of the daily hassle.

    Good Luck!

  2. A ten-year acne sufferer myself, I will show you how I cured my acne condition in 3 days the natural way, saved myself from further scarring, and stopped wasting my money on expensive medications and over-the-counter products!

  3. taking a pill everyday is only mildly annoying compared to having acne or the fear of getting sperm on/in you

  4. 1) Cook oatmeal and apply on face for fifteen minutes and wash.

    2) Make a warm bath with blanch of nettle and rosemary.

    3) Apply equal amount of lemon juice and rose water with a cotton ball and wash it after haif an hour for 15 to 20 days.
