Other insurance co. looked at damages?

I was recently involved in an accident where I was hit from behind in traffic. The other guy claimed responsibility and I called his insurance to have them look at it. They came and took pictures. Side note: I had my allstate estimate in the car and the guy took pictures of that too. Was that bad that I let him take pics of my estimate? Would his insurance co. pay it all off, meaning I wouldn't have to put any money into it like a deductible? If the damages come out to 340.00 State Farm would pay it all off right? Thanks

Going by my accident - insurance companies don't pay out - on anything.

We agreed upon a price for my car (it was totaled) june 18th & I am in the "awaiting paperwork " stage

I am most unhappy with this compan y : ( :( :(
