There are many restaurants here in Manila, however, what I choose is fine dining and ambience. Most restaurants here are located in the mall. These are not within mall areas and is more romantic.  

1.  Ilustrados ( Intramuros, Manila) = see the reviews at yahoo travel.  It was built during the Spanish regime.

Address: 744 Calle Real del Palacio ( General Luna Street)Manila

Restaurant: 11-3pm, 6-10pm Mondays-Saturdays

                     11-3pm Sundays

2.  Heritage Hotel = best buffet with different choices, lots of desserts too.

    I had tried the food here & it is really great! I am sorry this isnt within the top 10 in Manila but I think this is great also.

Are you limiting your choices in Manila area only?

Alabang = Vivere = top of the hotel is overlooking Laguna de Bay.  The price is affordable!  

Tagaytay area = Antonio's

  There are 2 restaurants over here.  One is for breakfast in which you can go walk in. The other one is by reservation!  I had been there last week of October and the place is really great.  It is open for lunch and dinner. Their fresh house salad is specifically from their garden. It is really romantic out here. However, it is quite expensive. Minimum order per head is almost P1,500. The ambience is great!

Tagaytay Highlands: The ambience is great and the food is good!

Other restaurants with great food , however, ambience is not that romantic!

Makati Area ( Greenbelt area, mall based)

Cabalen= eat all you can Kapampangan specialties

Saisaki = eat all you can Japanese food, which you can cross over Dads ( steaks) and Kamayan, located in Makati, Alabang area. There are other branches, but these are the ones I had been.

    I learned very much from your suggestions! I will try going to those places !
