Other than Expedia / Lastminute.co.uk etc. can someone recommend a good website for booking Holidays?

Question

We will need to depart from a UK Airport, it will be over the christmas period.

Also if you can recommend any specific destinations that would be great!

I have found Kayak to be consistently cheapest for me. More so for flights as they trawl every single airline, but the can be good for hotels in some places.

www.teletextholidays.co.uk is quite a good website for bargain holidays and www.otbeach.com is even better. They're the cheapest I've found so far. Cuba's lovely for a christmas holiday especially if you stay for New Years Day as that's a big celebration for the Cubans. There are a lot of packages around where you can spend 10 days on a Cuban holiday resort and then fly into Havana where you spend 4 days. Cuba is a very beautiful country and the Cubans are such warm, friendly and positive people.
