Question:

Other than Vegas, which American cities offer a variety of poker rooms all within a short distance?

The Vegas strip has a ton of casinos, all within walking distance of each other.

Are there any other American cities that have casinos which are conveniently located to each other?

Also, are there any poker rooms you enjoy playing at, outside of Vegas?

  1. Monte Carlo? Wait is that in the US? Idk. But that's the only other one I've heard of.

  2. In Michigan, Detroit has 3 all within a very small distance, with a 4th directly accross the river in Canada, very easy to get to all 4, and all 4 have good poker rooms!

  3. Detroit has three poker room casinos currently, within a few miles of each other, but not within walking distance.

Greektown, (Used to be the best, but now that they are in bankruptcy, avoid this one!), Motor CIty Casino ( Good players here ) and Ceasar's Windsor.

I like Motor City Casino at the moment for poker, they run a couple nice tournies that pull the better players, the dealers are friendly, and the new location is tops! Stop in some time if you ever find yourself in Detroit.

  4. Reno, Nevada and Atlantic City, New Jersey are both pretty big casino towns.  Nowhere near as dense as the Vegas strip, but still a good number of tables.

  5. Atlantic City, NJ is a famous one, but there are some other relative unknowns such as: Biloxi, MS

    Tunica, MS

    Vicksburg, MS

    Billings, MT

    Butte, MT

    Missoula, MT

    Kalispell, MT

    Reno, NV

    Laughlin, NV

    Henderson City, NV

  6. Bay 101 and Garden City are card clubs in San Jose CA.  They have 40 tables of action from hold'em to blackjack.

  7. Atlantic City

  8. Atlantic City is a good option.  The LA has some casinos/poker rooms but not in walking distance of each other.  Also check Reno, and if you are up for it, Niagara Falls, ON has two casinos within walking distance.

  9. i have hear miami is a good place to play.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?... ................answer that if you get a chance

  10. Reno?  Atlantic City?  The USA is FULL of casinos coast to coast!

  11. Gardena, Ca.  considered by some to be the best place to play poker professionally, though I think a lot of the rooms have closed down recently.  Tough games though, and you've got to be ready to grind for hours against old folks with nothing better to do.  The Hustler Poker casino's a bit more razzmatazz to it.

Inglewood used to have a few card rooms too.  No idea what they're like

Monte Carlo isn't in USA btw, it's in the principality of Monaco, Europe
