  1. And many people still think they have nothing to do with the price of gas. I do not know what to do, they after all are the giants and we are as little ants under their feet.

  2. Yell right boycott an oil company

    .

That will scare the c**p out of them won't it

    .

Kind of like boycotting the United Nations for not stopping the killing in Africa

    .

  3. I personally would rather boycott Citgo, a completely owned company of dictator Hugo Chavez. I haven't bought Citgo gas in 2 yrs now. Also, in my city, 3 Citgo stations have closed or been bought out by other companies. I'd love to take credit, nevertheless, thats 3 no longer around.

  4. Invest in wind and solar energy and quit giving these multimillionaires our money.

  5. I only buy Citgo gas - FROM VENEZUELA.

    s***w Exxon.

  6. Boycotting doesn't really do anything for a few reasons:

    1) They don't only sell gasoline for cars, actually it's only 20-30 percent of their total revenue.

    2) You need MILLIONS of people to boycott simultaneously to have any effect.

    2) Once the boycott is over, they would make back the money eventually (some way or another), rendering the boycott pointless.

To make a difference, organize or join a movement against the major oil companies and for the advancement of other energy sources and/or more fuel efficient cars.

  7. Organize a petition.

    Write reader editorials.

Talk to others to help promote the message.

    Begin a website about it.

Talk to your congressman to get a law passed preventing this crime.

Above all.... NEVER, EVER AGAIN, BUY YOUR GASOLINE FROM EXXON MOBIL!!!!!!!!

  8. Why would you want to boycot them?

    1. Yes they make lots of money but only because the price for oil is so high, which is caused (not by them) by you and everybody else's obsession with driving. Blaming them for oil prices does not make any sense.

    2. Exxon/Mobile is also a pillar in the economy without them there would be a big gapping whole in the economic stability of the U.S and the world (look what happened in credit crises).

    3. So in short, no matter what moral argument you have against the rich getting richer, these "Oil barons" are benefiting you when they make their money. They are strengthening the economy and giving you power in the world market place. They are certainly not the enemy and never were. The real enemies are the speculators and your neighbor who drives the giant SUV!

KNOW THE REAL ENEMY - it is "not" Exxon/Mobile
