  1. Open and place 1 box of Arm&Hammer Baking Soda!

You could also wipe the inside with vinilla extract and leave the cloth inside.

  2. I used to be in the moving business and I tried all of the usual suspects:  Baking soda, coffee, vanilla extract, etc.  I don't believe any of them work.  I also don't believe in leaving a refrigerator or freezer where children can get into them, except in the kitchen when you are living in the house, etc.  So, here's a couple of suggestions.  Turn the box around so the door is to the wall and prop the doors open just a little to promote air circulation.  Or, you could prop the doors open with something and then secure the doors with straps, etc., that are too difficult for children to undo.  Then, of course, the old reliable method is to simply remove the doors and store them next to the box.

  3. Big box of baking soda.

  4. Baking soda

  5. Leave it cracked. Enough for air to circulate. You'll eventually forget to check to ensure that mold isn't growing. Leave it cracked and forget about it. Safety first. If you can't leave it cracked do to children, then plenty of baking soda.
