Other than hybrids, what cars are the best in gas mileage?

Would you choose between Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic?

I would choose death before driving any of those crappy things.

If you want fuel economy~ diesel diesel diesel. However, you must get a diesel made prior to 2006. The new EPA regulations killed diesels.

My Ford Ranger is getting between 32 and 34 on the highway, not much less than either of those cars. (I drive it easy, no jack rabbit starts, no pedal to the floor) And, unlike j*p c**p, its a quality vehicle~ how amazing.

they will be comparable.  Both are good cars, but the Civic is a better buy.

The Honda Fit and Toyota Yaris will get better mileage.

The civic will soon be available (if it isn't already ) in a diesel model.
