  1. We found our soil to be lacking in magnesium, and the solution was to add epsom salts.  About a tablespoon around each plant, once every two weeks.

  2. Preen organic vegetable garden weed preventer and fertilizer.

  3. Schultz's fertilizer.  To me Miracle Grown pushes out too many leaves.

    I have switched to Schultz's.

  4. There are many natural fertilizers that you can use to help your tomatoes. I go to Starbucks and ask them for their used coffee grounds and mix those in with the soil. They release nitrogen slowly into the ground helping growth. I also bury seaweed around my plants. This won't help you this year, but you can make compost from your vegetable scraps and lawn cuttings and use that to fertilize your tomatoes next year. You can also buy a bag of manure or humus and mix it into the dirt where your vegetables will be growing. Happy gardening!

  5. I always put Multivitamins in the ground right next to the plant, I had one grow over 14 feet tall loaded with tomatoes.
