Other than popcorn, what are some good fundraisers for cub scouts?

Pop corn sales for our local cub scout pack are down. We are looking for some new, fresh ideas to raise money for the boys to attend camp and to pay for their awards.

Love to hear some good ideas!

  1. Donuts....everybody loves them.

  2. I can't think of anything off the top of my head,

but I attended CubScouts, BoyScouts and I loved it!

    Good for you!

  3. Well you can sell batteries or magazines.

  4. The company I work with helps people set up several low cost or no cost fundraiser programs, and I think we could help you. Feel free to email me at ds_music_now@yahoo.com and I'll give you all the details!

    Good luck!

  5. Here is a great one.  It is called a BAKELESS Bake Sale.

Instead of having a bake sale, you ask someone if they will help you.  Then explain instead of baking goodies, they donate the money it would cost them for making the cookies, or candy, etc.

Think about the ingredients and the time, most people would gladly give 5 of 10.

We did this for Special Olympics and raised almost 1K

  6. Krispy Kreme often sponsers fundraisers for groups, selling candy is another one (you can buy in bulk at Sams Club or some other wholesale place), or even doing odd jobs for elderly people who need the help.
