  1. You can't get something for nothing. You always have to practice.

  2. hmmmmmm...... maybe practice

  3. 1) Proper equipment

    2) Fitness - Same as in something like golf. If you have to exert yourself 100% to get the shot power you desire, your accuracy will suffer. However if you are stronger, you can maybe take that same shot at 80% and you wont be straining so much and it will be easier to hit your target.

    3) Ease up - Related to 2 if you are missing the target, but you are also shooting as hard as you can you will lose accuracy as you strain. So maybe back off a little and work more on accuracy. Ideally you have both, but sometimes the game calls for finesse/accuracy sometimes it calls for power and sometimes a mixture. So learn to pick your spots and ideally you should have both a blistering shot and one that you can put on a pinpoint.

It also really depends on what you are asking if you mean slapshot accuracy, you should realize that a slapshot is not the most accurate inherently so you may want to work on a power wristshot as a compromise (note Iginla and Sakic who just unload their wristshots with monster release).

  4. Besides practise, you want to have the right stick. Make sure it's the right size, curve, weight. I know from experience it's tempting to practise with a heavier stick, but you want to be comfortable with one or two sticks (or at least one you can afford to replace when it breaks) All this will help you improve your technique, confidence and ability.

  5. You can't.  You could lift weights so you'd have a harder shot but other than that just friggin practice, it yields the most result and it's the most fun ;-)

  6. Anticipate where your body is going to be when the pucks comes to you. Decide where you are going to shoot when the puck comes to you and where the other players on the ice( including the goalie) will be.

Change the curve of the stick(up or down).

Get a better grip for the stick with either less or no tape.

    Maybe longer, shorter stick?

Keep your head up more often. Don't spend too much time looking down at the stick to see if the puck is on their. Have confidence that the puck will be on your stick as you keep your head up on what is going on.

Use one of those plastic dummy goalies and tie it down on a net. This dummy goalie will have 5 holes to shoot at.

Use one of those pucks that weigh more than a regulation puck to build strength in your arms and wrists.
