I cannot have anything with high sodium and obviously soy sauce, which includes low sodium soy sauce has a lot of sodium. What else might taste good with sushi. It has to be a dip of some sort.

  1. honey mustard mixture

    Worcestershire sauce

    ranch dressing

  2. Ginger Sauce

    Peanut Sauce

    Hoisin Sauce

  3. Wasabi

    Panzu

    Peanut sauce

    Chili pepper water

Some sushi is too good for soy, but if it's just your run of the mill you can try any of these...good sushi should be enjoyed plain though

  4. Teriyaki sauce is great and comes on some of the fancy rolls, but a bottle of Ginger or Asian salad dressing, that's tasty too.

  5. Substitute soy sauce with a low sodium vinegar.  Add hot sauce, scallions, ginger, sesame oil, and a touch of curry powder.

  6. Ponzu sauce is delicious, but I don't know the sodium level.

  7. mayo and soup base like clear soup stock

chili oil and mayo plus sesame oil

wasabi paste, mayo and just water or soup stock
