Other than taking antibiotics, are there any other reasons that oral contreceptives wouldn't work?

I just got married almost 2 months ago, so we are definitely NOT trying to get pregnant right now. I haven't missed a pill at all. But, I just feel so bad right now. Sick...headaches...no energy...nauseated. I know that it could just be a bug, but I just really don't wanna be pregnant right now. I know that BC won't work when you are on antibiotics, but are there any other reasons it wouldn't work?

If you've been sick with vomiting and/or diarrhea it can cause your pill not to be absorbed.  And the pill is only 99% effective when used correctly, so that means that out of 100 women who are taking the pill, 1 will get pregnant.
