  4. The Marian act of, if not able to create a reminder artistically for the focus upon God, to employ a craftsperson to lovingly re create God as a reminder, not as an idol, is so pure I find it worthy as a witness, most especially amongst non believers.

For example, I was not ready for this, but after 25 years of witnessing to one individual, I cried, I was not ready at the worst ebb of my adversity to receive such blessing, after knowing the Holy Spirit coming into the life of one such crafts person, was comforted in my prayers to Jesus the Christ, they chose, or rather the holy Spirit did to reveal, I believe in Jesus and will pray for you, years of fence sitting as an argumentative agnostic, I wept with joy and some silly nurse said, there there dear, its hard when you see folks ill with dementia, rubbish what a false diagnosis.

This was first confirmed by another Christian foolishly believing the ol fox had dementia too and smiling, sang the childrens nursary rhyme, Jesus loves me this I know, for the bible tells me so, and tears in both eyes as the ol fox squeezed so lovingly a squeeze of yes, I believe too.

When you give of your life unto Christ you return, you are always His, his love knows no limits to chase to the ends of the earth.

It all started with the simple act of a Marion devout believer comissioning this crafts person to paint Christ in the marion image, as a reminder, not, an idol.

  5. I learned the MEMORARE in high school and found it to be a very comforting devotion.

I have it in it's complete form:

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

    Amen.

  6. umm She is highly revered in Poland as the Queen Mary. She's huge there.

  7. A good one that isn't quite as common is the Ave Maris Stella. It's beautiful.

  9. I don't understand the point of worshiping a dead person.

    Shrugs.

  10. The Memorare, The Rosary (in its entirety), Hail Holy Queen, The Angelus, the Ave Maris Stella, Reading of St. Louis de Montfort's  True Devotion or Total Consecration to Mary, and, my personal favorite, which can be prayed in succession and whenever you can: "Mother Mary, I take thee as my all.  Come into my heart, O Mary."

Or, by praying, Mary _____ (insert one of her many titles, such as: Our lady of Lourdes, Our lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady Queen of Heaven and Earth, etc.) pray for us!

These are all powerful prayers.  I hope you continue to call upon her for her most powerful intercession to our Lord!

    God Bless you!

Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth, pray for us!
