The talented midfielder, who started his professional career at Philips Stadion in the 2003/04 season, featured in well over 100 Eredivisie matches for the Eindhoven giants, netting 25 goals while setting up plenty more along the way.

Although, the Dutch international enjoyed success in all of his loan spells, it were his impressive performances for the Rotterdam giants that garnered him interest from several European clubs. The Dutch footballer of Moroccan origin netted nine goals and
provided seven assists in 29 Eredivisie appearances.
After finishing fourth on the Russian Premier League table in the recently concluded season, Dynamo Moscow had been busy in the ongoing summer transfer window in order to improve the look of their squad.
Although, the White-Blues performed consistently throughout the 2011/12 campaign, their midfield lacked the depth through which they could have mounted a successful title assault.
Sergei Silkin, the Dinamiki head coach, saw Bakkal as a perfect addition to his squad, and managed to lure the midfield ace to Arena Khimki before the start of the 2012/13 season.
Bakkal was extremely delighted after putting pen to paper on a three-year deal, and revealed that the club’s ambition to compete for the title convinced him to make a move to the Russian top flight.
