month after a series of disappointing results and appointed veteran Otto Rehhagel as their new boss.
Rehhagel, who managed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Greece-c2908 to Euro 2004 triumph, claimed that he is there to help the club until the summer and is hopeful that he will be able to turn things around in the three months. He admitted that the club is in a difficult
situation right now and is willing to give his all to make sure Hertha Berlin end the season in the top ten.
The former Bayern Munich manager hinted that he may continue the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 even after the season ends if the club offer him a new deal. The tactician added that there are certainly a lot of expectations from the supporters and he does
not want to let them down.
“I am here until the summer and then I finish with Berlin. But that doesn't mean that I will give up completely. I am fit, healthy and motivated. I can reschedule my personal business to the summer, but Hertha don't have that time.
People are placing a lot of hope in me and I don't want to disappoint them,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Rehhagel added that he will be the dictator of the club until the end of the season and he will not tolerate indiscipline. He admitted that the players should respect all the rules and should work hard to get the results in the
future games.
“I am the forerunner and I expect order and discipline. I am a democratic dictator. If anybody does not respect the rules, then it is best they tell me that straight away,” he concluded.
Otto Rehhagel will manage his first game in the Bundesliga when Hertha Berlin face fellow strugglers, FC Augsburg, at the weekend.
