Question:

Ouch! I just stubbed my toe!?

I just stubbed my big toe on my metal coffee table. It throbbed for 10 minutes, then I was able to limp to the couch and get on my laptop. My toe still hurt. Then I bent it a little and it didn't hurt, but then when it was back in place, it started throbbing again. Now, probably 20 minutes later, I keep getting this pain that feels like something sharp is scraping my bone (I don't normally get this feeling). Now it kills to move my toe. I'm not going to the doctor for this though cause the bill would be a lot. Could I have broken it? If I did what should I do without going to the doctor. Also my big toe is already really bent on both my feet. (don't know if thats got anything to do with this but...)

Thanks

  1. Put some ice on it but keep an eye on the swelling.

You may need some professional help.

  2. the old saying was if you can move it, it ain't broke

    but that's and old saying.

you shouldn't be getting medical advice here.

but the ice is a good idea.

    take some tylenol or aspirin.
