  1. yea ouch i went 2 universal and wore brand new flats i had bought the night b4 and i ended up with blisters on my ankle and my toes and on the sides it was awful but this site helped me with their instructions:

        *  If the blister has not burst then it may be necessary to make a small hole at the edge with a serialized pin or needle, particularly if the blister is on a weight bearing surface. A pin can be sterilized by passing it through a flame.

        * Do not drain a blood filled blister.

        * Drain the fluid but leave as much of the skin as possible covering the wound. This is an important protective layer for the underlying skin and will help to prevent infection.

        * Clean the blister with a sterilizing wipe. Cover the wound with a second skin or blister plaster - take the time to apply it correctly.

        * For additional security apply tape over top.

hope this helped hope u feel better:]

  2. don't pop them.. and if you already did then clean them out with soap and water then cover them up with a band-aid. I run a lot and get blisters all the time. The best thing you can do is get some moleskin or second skin which is this really cushiony pad-like stuff and put a little of that over some ointment and under a bandage on your foot. Then wait for a callus to form. You will just keep getting blisters if you don't let the callus form. :/

If you won't be running again anytime soon then soak your feet in a luke-warm bath with epsom salts. that helps

  3. well i would soak them in luke warm water... not to hot cuz that will feel painful on the blisters... they also sell things at the pharmacy to help relieve pain from your blisters... just be sure to baby your feet for the next few days.

  4. Over the course of the next few days allow your feet to dry and be exposed to air. I would recommend wearing sandals and try to minimize the amount of time you are walking on them. Go to the drug store and pick up "mole skin". They are basically a thick foam band aid that you can cut a circle out and place it around your blisters (you may need to stack some on top of each other depending on the size). I would recommend that you not pop any of the blisters, as this can prolong healing time and expose you to secondary skin infections which could worsen the problem.

Secondly, I would recommend that you get either new running shoes that fit your feet better or get arch supports. Blisters are caused by friction normally found in shoes that don't fit properly.

Personally, the fastest way I've deal with blisters is to inject benzoin tincture in the blister. (**Consult your doctor**). This was an old military trick that would fix any blister within a matter of hours.
