Ouija Board OPINION?

Question

I know there is lots of questions about the Ouija board and all but I'm not sure if its safe to play?

I really really wanna play it with a friend or my mom or something but like im terrified to! I don't want to get all possessed and stuff and have my house haunted everyday, I would never be the same.

But i'm just wondering some ppl say its ok to play and others don't. What do you guys think?

I've heard that if you have like a cross with you they won't do anything?

Also if you have any other things you'd like to put in about it go ahead, im doing a report on this for school and I need some info.

leave it alone it's demonic!!!! You'll be inviting all kinds of demonic spirits in your home! it's not a game ...don't be deceived!

it is not a game.  if you dont use it properly, you could invite bad spirits around you. my advice is to throw it in the trash.

i can't pretend to be an expert, i have read and heard many accounts, some hysterical, some bored, of the ouija board. i think you get what you expect- people who are fearful and expect demons and evil spirits are going to have a bad experience, people who are skeptical get nothing... the one real warning that comes out of almost any occult tradition is that you must know yourself- if there is a part of you that believes or expects that something bad will happen (poltergeist effects, spirit possession, etc.) then there is a chance that your experience will fulfill that expectation... i don't believe that there is anything inherently evil about a ouija board, but i think any ritual practice that opens one up to- well- whatever, unconscious mind or intelligences outside the mind- has the potential to be scary, and if you let your fear run away with you, even dangerous.

I used a ouija board a few times many years ago, and nothing happened, which is not surprising, since it is just a game that you can buy in a kid's toy store such as Toys R Us and in most department stores that sell board games. It is a game that plays on your imagination. The people using it make it work. There is nothing supernatural involved. The imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe all kinds of things, especially if you are a little susceptible and superstitious and fearful.  So you can ask the ouija board anything you want, but it will be your subconscious mind and the minds of your friends who are playing the game with you, who will be answering your questions, not some spirit.  Here are a few links that discuss ouija boards.

i remember we bought one and only used it once. we got it at walmart for like $20. we used it at this overnight school function, so we were in a hotel. at first it seemed really corny, it was moving really slow. then it got weird when it spelled out a really big word none of knew how to spell on the top of our heads. the spirit said she lived in "limbo" and we had no idea what that was at the time (its a place between heaven and h**l, something like that), the answers came more faster, the thingy moved with more force. i say do it but dont ask questions like "are you seaking revenge, did you murder someone, blah blah blah". friendly spirits! and dont do it often, do it once take a break, another time then take a break. remember to say goodbye and wait for the thingy to move to goodbye, or else the portal is "still open"
