Question:

Ouija board? Have you ever used it?

Me and some friends are going to play with the Ouija board, and we want to do it for real. Like should we set up some candles in a pentagon shape and sit in a circle inside the star? Do we need to say something to get the spirits to talk to us, and to stop? I know that we need to close the ritual so we aren't haunted or anything. Would it be best to do it at 3 am, dead time, when all the spirits are said to come out? Let me know thanks. And I don't need any responses like this is Devil worship or anything, I believe in God, I just want a connection to the spirit world.

  1. Nope, never played it. It is biblically satanic. I don't care if people think I'm wrong or weird for saying that. It's not necessarily devil worship, but it opens up a door to all of that c**p. My advice, play something else.

  2. I'd advice to do it. Believing in God enhances the spirits especially those who were steadfast church goers and fellowmen of the lord. It's not Devil worship at all. You don't have to talk or say any traditional saying. Just feel connected with "energy." Sit face to face or on a bed, just make sure youre comfortable.

You're right it's best to do it during 3 AM. Make sure all the lights are out, hopefully you have enough candles. Be careful, I have done this and have experienced bizarre contact with the dead. I actually gave my Ouija board away due to having nightmares for a while.

  3. i have used/played with them.

    no scary experiences. interesting though.

i didn't do anything about special times or lights off or closing the ceremony.

  4. The human mind is an amazement unto itself. Faith is what the question is about. Belief in a God is a connection to the spirit world. The gray area is good or bad spirits.

It is believed by many that their God is the good god, or correct god. Each individual has their own perception of God. Groups of peoples can be convinced that they all believe in one God, yet that is the up to the one that is chosen or accepted as the leader of the group, clan, cult.

Yes I have used those boards, they are fun. They are also part of the subconscious actions of the people that use or consult them.

Ask if white or black is a color. Ask if war is why we are here.Ask if a plan is predestined or free will.

You know all the answers or a group can agree on whatever answers they agree to be correct at that time.

Far as the pentagon, well that is a five sided geographical shape, I believe you are thinking of a pentagram, which is usually associated with the Anarchists or Occultisms.

Occultism is not an Anti God thing, in one book of the Bible some goodly peoples consulted a witch or occultism to gain insight to an event that had yet to take place. Is OT stuff,

    1Samuel 28:5-25

"When Saul saw the Philistine army, he was afraid; terror filled his heart. He inquired of the LORD, but the LORD did not answer him by dreams or Urim or prophets. Saul then said to his attendants, "Find me a woman who is a medium, so I may go and inquire of her." "There is one in Endor," they said. So Saul disguised himself, putting on other clothes, and at night he and two men went to the woman. "Consult a spirit for me," he said, "and bring up for me the one I name." But the woman said to him, "Surely you know what Saul has done. He has cut off the mediums and spiritists from the land. Why have you set a trap for my life to bring about my death?" Saul swore to her by the LORD, "As surely as the LORD lives, you will not be punished for this." Then the woman asked, "Whom shall I bring up for you?" "Bring up Samuel," he said.

That one always or use to perplex me a bit.

The good in ones heart is the God that one follows. So I pass no judgments nor have I any factual data to prove or disprove  the 3am, 'dead time', but I do wonder if that time was set before or after DST went into effect.

If it did, and it was chosen 1200 years ago, it would rotate to about 236 hours off.

Is still fun, and that is what a day is for, to be enjoyed and shared enjoyment with others.

I would also advise a Type 3 Fire Extinguisher and a designated driver.

  5. When I was young we used to play it.  It always gave me the creeps.  I believe in god too, but I also believe Ouija boards are just a game...NOT devil worship.

  6. I've never used a Ouija board so I can't really say it's not gonna work. I'm really skeptical about ghosts and such seeing as I've never seen/heard/felt any. Though I am kind of jealous of people who have experienced other-worldly phenomena.

I don't really know the best way to set it up, but I suppose being positive towards the situation (believing it will work) should help some.

  7. I have used it and it was a crazy experience.  I had nightmares for awhile and I have never used it again, in fact I threw it away.

  8. I would not do it.

I am a Chrisitan and I do beleive spirits are out there, some on God's side, some not.

The main reason we go through life unaware/ unaffected is because God protects us. When you try to use any type of "medium" to reach past God's protection, he sees your intention and he might "remove the Hedge" enough to let you get scared.

You don't need to do any "ritualistic" things to make it work, Even time of day doesn't matter. Any of the "trappings" of it are for theatircs. Still, I would advise you to not mess with it, the more scared you get the more the spirit can effect you.

If you do anyway your best protection is to Pray. Remeber Jesus gave us power to rebuke the very devil (king of evil). Any lesser spirits will be easily sent away by Using Jesus's name for protection.

Also you can "test" a spirit to see if they are good. Per the Bible you just need to ask it "who is Jesus". The *ONLY* answer is "The son of God." *ANYTHING* else is not a good spirit. Rebuke it.

  9. I've heard of it before.  Never used it before.  I don't think that it's a connection to the spirit world.

  10. I used it some years ago and I probably would never do it again. We used candles the first time for the atmosphere but they aren't "needed" or anything. I used it to have a connection to the spirit world but you won't have one in the way you expect. We didn't get any family or friends, we got crazy people who were messing with us the whole time. :) It didn't matter what time we used it either. For some reason we had to have three people for the piece to move around and I have no idea why. To end it all you have to say is Goodbye and it will move over the word on the board and be over.
