Ouija board concerning mormons?

Ive been hearing about this Ouija board and im mormon but i cant find anything that says mormons cant use them.

I think it's all a bunch of hooey, but I wouldn't use it.

As an ex-mormon I was taught not to use them, but then mormons can read harry Potter, it does not make sence to me, I just know that my Mom used one once and went against the church and some how the lights went out in thehouse and she never did that again.

we dont use them because the whole point of the ouija board is summoning evil spirits. once you willingly let evil spirits in, the Holy Ghost won't reside there. why would I knowingly get rid of the Holy Ghost to ask for an evil spirit? that's party why we won't use them.  Of course there's no "law" against using them, we have accountability. But we consider them tools of Satan

Ever heard - Avoid the very appearance of evil?  Ouija boards are used to "mess with" evil spirits... why let that into your life? because they will gladly come...

Just don't mess around with that type of stuff.  Any situation where the Holy Ghost has to leave you isn't a good one.
