Ouija board ?

Hey i was thinking of getting a ouija board but befroe i do i wanted to know how you experiane the game safely. Like are there surtent things i need to do or say or have while experinacneing the game. Also is it safe to play the game at 12:00 am on Halloween in a haunted house?

I totally believe that spirits and ghosts can communicate through the ouija board. I have had some bad experiences where very evil things were communicated. The people involved were me, my best friend, and my boyfriend. There's no way that any of the 3 of us were controlling what was said.

Before that episode, I loved using the ouija board and would get it out for every party I had. Afterwords, I never used it again. I think it's a dangerous game that can be very upsetting. It's not something to go into lightly.

From a scientific point of view, it's only dangerous if you take it way too seriously. Just relax and enjoy it and you'll be fine.

Most people don't believe in them. However, I wouldn't mess with one if my life depended on it, and I'm not religious. Be careful.

And to Tracy below me. Yes, you can have a correct answer without being religious. Just because you believe you're right doesn't necessarily mean you are. He said he didn't want a religious answer so instead of putting in your unwanted 2 cents you should have just exited the page and gone back to Yahoo! Answers.

i've always wanted to try one as well.

the basic thing is, don't let it be a joke.

whats suppose to happen is you awaken a spirit and it drifts your hands to the answers. but there have been situations i've heard about where the spirits don't leave, and will haunt the players because they seem the game as disrespect.

You don't need to worry about playing the ouija board, but if you are only 12 talk to your parents about it.  The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It has no supernatural powers.  The people using the ouija board make it work.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.
