Ouija board question, please answer??

Question

So I was at a party and people decided to use an ouija board

I would NEVER mess with that kind of stuff so I was like I'm not gonna do it

So I just watched them but didn't use it

I heard that if you use it I guess you invite spirits to your house or like bring bad luck upon yourself

since i was in the same room will this stuff happen to me?

or only the people that used it?

and i believe in this stuff so please no answers like "ghosts aren't real"

and i didn't touch the ouija board AT ALL

if you truly believe that ghosts will inevitably haunt your house, then to you it will seem like its happening.  

I'm very undecisive at the existence of ghosts.  I guess I would need evidence that they exist.  Though I think "ghost" has a negative connotation attached to it... I prefer 'spirits'

But all in all, as long as you don't get wrapped up in paranoia, I'm sure you will be fun.  I highly doubt the boards are actually cursed.

Ghosts may or may not be real, but you don't invite spirits into your house by using the ouija board, and nothing is going to happen to you as a result of being present when others used a ouija board.  So truly, you can stop worrying.

The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It is meant for two or more players so it will not work very well if you try to use it alone.  It has no supernatural powers.  The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.

You know, I used it and nothing has happened to me so far. I've had other friends use it and nothing has happened to them. I doubt anything will happen with you.

everytime i done the ouija i held a lemon or an orange or a lime or a white candle in a circle around me and the people in the room.

the lemon orange... is good cus it has all the accide and white candel wel may i say more lol

well dont worry just sleep with a white candel and a lemon or somethng with u in bed.

and try to find out where u can find a a necklece of the eye of protection i think thats wat its called.

Well, I have used a Ouija in the past, and lots of my friends as well, and as far as I know, no one has seen any ghosts. Nothing bad will happen because you were there. Now, if  you're like me, you'll stub your toe and think, "oh, that was because of the ouija board", just don't freak yourself out okay?
