Ouija board (weegee board)

Question

the other night at a sleep over my friend's sister was talking about a weegee board. she asked if i have played it. she said its against our religion and stuff.and she said a girl became possessed by a demon one time.

so i would like to ask if the game really works...like...all i know is that theres a glass and numbers and letters..how does it work? and are there any real stories of people using it?

i don't plan on using one. i'm just curious.

Personally i don't believe in it and it is also against my religion however i went to a party and brang one not knowing what it was. I thought it just looked like a cool game so we tried it and it didn't work. We felt a little destructive so we broke it into pieces only to find that there was a magnet inside moving the pieces. Some psychic.

I contacted my best friend through one last night....the thing is, it opens a window for more then you may want...I learned a valuable lesson after my best friend spelled out "run" as we were sitting in the cemetary...

She warned me and trust me, i wont do that in a cemetary again....be careful with that stuff.

never play that game i played it  wnd i got tired so i went to beed but i put the game on my dresser and when i woke up to walk the dogs the game was no wae to be foundre and there was my dads picuter tharer my daa died 3 years ago

To educate you a little, it's Wee-Yah. Oui is French for yes, and Ja is German for yes. It literally means a yes-yes board.

As for the board being a tool for which the dead can speak to you through - no.  I personally do not believe they work. Then again I do not believe in ghosts. But if you believe it is real & spirits can talk to you through it, then it /can/ be real to you.

It really depends on what you believe.

The ouija board does not contact demons.  Nothing bad will happem if you use it.  It works to the extent that it is a game that you can make do some things.  

The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It is meant for two or more players so it will not work very well if you try to use it alone.  It has no supernatural powers.  The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.
