Ouija boards are fake?

My brother has told me (he is extremely educated)

that ouija boards are fake.

he said people are moving them..

and he said if people close their eyes what will happen?

and I said I unno

and he said nothing cause they cant see the letters. lol.

when you play with Ouija boards you are summoning the spirits to answer,  that is nothing to play with,   evil spirits are more likely to make the effort.   I believe what your brother says does happen but I also believe when you summon spirits you are messing with things that are more than you bargained for.  Been there!

It is a game, and meant for entertainment purposes only.  Who cares how it works or doesn't work.  Some people like playing with them and others don't much like any other game.  I don't see why your extremely educated brother would really care about what the less educated find  fascinating.

I was very skeptical,  but the Ouija board is very real.  I haven't tested it with my eyes closes (I will try that though) but we have had some shocking results.

My fiance, two of my friends and myself were using the board and we spoke to his grandmother.  I personally made sure that nobody was pushing the planchette.  

He asked her questions that none of us knew the answer to, and she answered correctly.  

So tel me, if we're all moving it by ourselves (and I made sure that my fiance was hardly touching the planchette) it moved very smoothly to each letter with out our movements clashing.

The one spirit also warned me when the incense was going to run out, just before it did.  He also told me that I was going to have a nightmare about my mother that night... and I did.

It`s a question of spirituality. Do you believe that there is an after life, and that spirits can contact the living through certain means? If so, then you might believe Ouija boards are real. It`s really up to you whether or not you want to believe they`re real.

But look at this concept carefully - do you really believe that we can contact spirits using a $20 piece of wood from Walmart? I believe that if there was an afterlife and ghosts in the universe, they wouldn`t use such base and ineffective mediums to contact the living.

Of course it`s someone in the group moving the slider around (or if you want to look at this objectively, ``most of the time``), but a lot of the time it is subconsciously. One person moves it slightly (whether intentionally or not), and the group takes up the idea. Next thing you know, that one simple nudge is suggestion enough to have the whole group moving it without realizing it.

But what`s the big deal? It`s a game, and can make for a fun night if you`re looking for something spooky and supernatural. If you like playing with Ouija boards, go for it.
