i have been reading up on them.....has anyone used them?...did it work?...any bad experiences?....or just a parlour game?

Its weird, they have been banned for a long time and some folklore stories about people being possessed have been around for ever. proceed with caution

Please don't play with fire! It's possible to open a psychic gateway that is very difficult to close, as any knowledgeable occult person will tell you. There is no way of proving who or what is answering your questions, and some people have reported physical disturbances in their homes after using the Ouija board. Please don't.

PS -- I have never heard of Ouija boards being banned, I see them in the stores all the time. (I live in the US.)

Try the Tarot cards, they are fun and you'll learn a lot.

I was playing with my three best friends. It told us to turn on the tv and when we turned it on The RELIGION CHANNEL WAS ON! No one in my house watches the station.Ever. Freaked us out. I never used one again.

Before becoming a born-again Christian, I was, well... working for the other side. I was a Luciferian, a practicing Warlock, and my county's leading Demonologist. I used to have a 400 year old witchboard, that was consecrated, made of human skin and the eye was made of bone. It has long since been destroyed now, but it was a very powerful tool in our "practices". We would converse with demons, and use it to invoke certain entities for certain special ceremonies. Did it work? yeah, sure it did. There are things in this world that are beyond comprehension or explanation.

Now, "Ouija" is just a Parker Brothers game, but is an adaptation of what the witchboard represents. It can be consecrated, and then used as a witchboard, just the same.

You asked about bad experiences... A very close friend died during one of our "Practices"... We could not see what killed him, though we could see the results on his physical body. It could have been any one of us, but whatever it was that killed my friend... chose him.

Now, Let me caution you... These things are not to be toyed with. Even before my friend's death, we were proponents of not having others to mess with witchboards lightly. There is great power to be released through them, and unless you have the power to control what you release, you may not like your experience. As a Christian, I urge you strongly not to try what you are considering, but I also know that, from a Christian perspective, you have the free will to do as you choose. So let me not caution you as a man of God, but as a man of experience. You are dealing in spiritual matters and spiritual warfare. Don't enter it unarmed. Don't think your intellect is power, and don't think your mind enough to defeat spiritual beings. They have only been defeated by one, and we are not among them. I can tell you that, also as a man of experience, they are afraid of the name of Jesus Christ, but only when they are faced with one who Christ dwells within.

I have not used the board but I've used my i pod. I pods can also be used as a ouija board too and it seems to work faster then the ouija board. I'd say I've never had any bad experiences but still be careful.

Please don't use a ouijja board!

You are opening portals/doors without any control about who comes in and no control over what thyey do when they're here.

A medium friend told me that 'good' spirits won't make contact through one and only manevolent ones will.

you wouldn't leave your front door open and not worry about who came into your house would you or what they might do while they're in there - don't do this either!! The results could be SO much worse.

Try reading up on something that will give you knowledge that will be useful to you when you grow up. In the meantime leave the ouija boards well alone as it is not a joke, it has ruined many innocent lives. Parlour games don't frighten the c..p out of anyone, cause at the least nightmares and lasting psychological disorders.

A couple of my mates and i used one, my mates nose randomly started pouring with blood for no reason, she never had a nose bleed before in her life.

was pretty freaky, i don't believe in them though. The human imagination is stronger than any board.

by playing a the ouija board your playing with fire so don't do it please. It may seem all good and fascinating but it's not because your allowing demons in your home with welcome arms.

They don't work I've used them alone and with friends many times and noting was real it's only what you believe you want and someone in your group is always being a jerk and moving it. So try it if you must but I think you'll be disappointed.

Well, electricity can be harmless if it is used in the right way and precautions are taken.  But you don't take chances, or do things without knowing exactly what you are doing..

From what I hear about ouija boards, I would be wary of dabbling.  The best precaution is DON'T  - then you won't have anything you  might  regret later.

I'm very interested in the paranormal and I have been to a few ghost walks and overnight vigils, never have we been allowed to use a Ouija board. They are dangerous.

Imagine "bad" people (pedophiles, burglars, rapists, murderers, etc) being outside your front door or walking up and down the street. You are on the other side of the closed door, when you use that Ouija board and call out for spirits, you then open the door and the "bad" people from the street come into your house. It is exactly the same for Ouija boards and peoples homes. Yes, you may communicate with a loved one but I did once read someone let in a spirit, thought to be their Gran, the spirit turned out to be a murderer in his former life and made the man's life a misery because the spirit still wanted revenge.
