Ouija boards? (wi-ji)?

ouija boards are said to be able to contact spirits. is this true? i would love to know from someone who has tried.

Ouija boards don't contact spirits.  I used a Ouija board years ago and nothing happened.  Nothing happened when some of my friends played the Ouija board.  I actually found the whole experience incredibly boring.  Scrabble is much more fun, more interesting, and more exciting.  

The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It is meant for two or more players so it will not work very well if you try to use it alone.  It has no supernatural powers.  It does not communicate with the dead and it does not contact spirits.  It does not open any portals to the underworld or to anywhere else.  The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.

They are great fun at parties and stuff, but other than that I wouldnt count on them connecting you to the other world.

But I would absolutely love a wii-ji game, it would be awesome!  Ghosts on the wii!  lol

ive seen ppl use them in the show A Haunting, i wudnt mess with them tho cuz something bad mite happen. i think it does contact with spirits most of the time. i wudnt mess with it tho

I tried it with my sister and dad (who was a nonbeliever) and a friend of my sis's that I didn't know. Well, it was extremely freaky. We talked to several different spirits (family) and then a demons name started to spell out over and over and over and we couldn't stop it. It was so scary and I will never ever play again. My dad is a believer now. I think in order for them to work, you have to be spiritually open. Just, don't mess with anything you shouldn't....

No, ouija boards don't work. It's just a scam. No one gets haunted from a board game.

I would not trust using one on your own.  When I was in college my friends and I tried using one with a bunch of people and with someone that had experience using one.  It was definitely a different experience.  I saw that the planchette was moving and I know I wasn't moving it and neither was anyone else.  Our friend proceeded to use the board and speak to it.  He told us to ask it questions about things that were personal to us and that no one knew about.  I asked questions about my past and my family members and dates and ages and it was right on the money.  I asked all these questions in my head without anyone knowing or hearing and they were right.  My friend was also experienced enough to say goodbye to the spirit so that we were safe.  I wouldn't trust or try one without experience.

Well.. using the ouija board is no game. Me and my friends has tried using this ouija board when we first didn't know what it was for. We were just freaked out when creepy things were happening when we were using it.

I suggest you not to use these kinds of things. Cuz when you use this ouija board and successfully contacted a spirit.. The spirit may continue haunting you until you help them. Or they can hurt you and play tricks on you if you contacted an evil spirit.

Anyway.. i just suggest you wont do it. Cuz it can be really dangerous

O.M.G..Please please stay away from ouija boards.. Trust me they do work.. They can also deposit some bad spirits too.. I admit I've messed around with ouija myself for a laugh with me mates.. Freaked me out big time.. My advice to you is to avoid them at all costs..x..

Yes, some say it is a game...

But my mother and I did it one time..and we are both very spiritual, and my grandfather was speaking to us...

I know its not fake because my mo started to cry really badly, and so I know she wasnt moving the planchlette, and I didnt either, cuz I almost cried...

So Yeah you can speak to spirits...just be careful when you do...

If you start getting disturbing answers just take your hands off the planchlette, and leave the board alone...lol

TOTAL BULLSHIT!

Watch this youtube vid... They show that if you blind fold people, even true believers, then turn the board around without them knowing... Their hands go to where they THINK the yes and no SHOULD be... If it was really ghosts... They would be able to see where the REAL yes and no are... So it proves it is all just in the heads of the people using it.
