Ouija users: Is it your arms/hands moving or the pointer moving?

Question

For those who have tried using a Ouija board, could you tell if :

1) You felt a force moving your arms and hands, so the pointer is then moved by your hands.

or

2) You felt that the pointer was being moved, so your hands and arms tried to keep pace with it.

Erm, I thaught you say somthing and the ghost uses the pointer.

You are making the pointer move, even if you don't realize that you are doing it.

My sister and I used a oija board and encountered something. We were "speaking" to our deceased uncle and we asked for a sign...the lights...to prove it was him. Immediately after asking, the lights in the house blinked off and came back on in a few seconds. Closest thing I've ever had to a paranormal experience.
