Ouiji board question about closing it?

when i closed the ouiji board i said to the spirit ok then i will levae now ok good bye then it moved to goodbye then i let go of the pachellete is that how to turn it off

Yea ,but you never know what the heck you were messing with and I have to say that's surprising you know to say goodbye.. You should be proud of yourself, because many people don't know that and a lot of bad c**p happened when they didn't. Though i wouldn't use it again I am sure you've heard of the Exorcist movie. To let you know it all started by using that, but it seems you're educated and can handle yourself.

Sure, you can consider it "turned off".  All you need to do is stop playing it.  You don't need to follow any special procedure.  

The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It is meant for two or more players so it will not work very well if you try to use it alone.  It has no supernatural powers.  The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.
