  1. Im a christian and my mom says that weegee boards are a way to communicate with demons.

  2. Different religions have different beliefs about things like that, and even different individuals within the same religion have differing beliefs about it.  There is no way to make a blanket statement about which religions consider it a sin and which don't.  Many would say it is just not a very smart thing to do because of what it is supposed to represent.  If your friends don't like the idea of it, then don't take it out when they are around.  Respect their beliefs.

My opinion is that the ouija board is just a game, a piece of wood or cardboard or plastic, with no mystical or supernatural powers.  Here are a couple of links for you, but let your friends have their beliefs.

  3. im a Christian. the problem with ouiji boards is they open up doors for demons and bad entities to pass through. i know it sounds like a bunch of nonsense, like its just a harmless game. but trust me, i have seen some crazy s**z and demons do excist. not only are u putting yourself in danger by using the ouiji board, but u are putting those closest to u in danger as well. u no the movie "The Excersist" was based on a true story. the real child who became demonically possessed was a little boy and it happened when he opened a portal by using a ouiji board. if u value your life and your friends and family, do not use it!

  4. My mom and her sister played with a ouiji board and she said after that she always felt like satin was around her. I never used a ouiji board though.

  5. It is not one particular religion that calls it a sin. And no, it is not a sin, but it IS dangerous.

I used to play a lot when I was young like you. At first it seemed like just fun stuff. Then some very bad and scary things happened. Ouiji opens the door to a lot of very bad things. Take my word for it....

  6. I do not blame your friends for not wanting to play with one. The Christian religion believes it is a way to communicate with demons and it is considered witchcraft.

  7. Demons love to lie to people, especially children, who are convinced that ouija boards are connecting them with ghosts...they love to deceive the living, and especially the very naive.

Ouija boards are a way to connect to the living for demons who aren't really summoned in any other way.

Tormenting the living is the only entertainment that demons have, so why wouldn't they take the opportunity when you put it under their noses?

You should do some research for yourself so you are aware of what you are doing. Why take a chance on something that takes you away from God's grace and protection, and leaves you with a demon's presence instead?

    Leviticus 19:31

" Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God."

    Leviticus 20:6

"I will set my face against the person who turns to mediums and spiritists to prostitute himself by following them, and I will cut him off from his people."

Ask someone at your church who you trust if your church has a problem with ouija boards - they are a form of divination and have been forbidden with good reason.

And it doesn't matter where you got the board - you could have made one yourself at home or bought yours at a garage sale.

  8. Whether you believe in a religion or not, it doesn't matter. Ouiji boards are NOT something to mess around with. I'm serious.

If you do not want bad things to happen and or have any chance of it happening don't use it. Those things are creepy and really are evil.

When I was little I played with a ouiji board, I didn't think it was bad then but i'm glad I never touched it again after that because they are bad and when I used it, it was NOT me who moved the piece. It moved on its own.

  9. dude ouiji boards are the best ever who ever made the thing are freakin geniuses

  10. see the ouiji board is not a sin trust me i had one from toys r us 2 but it is very dangerous once you start playing it you will never stop thats fine but when you are playing in your house or in someone elses your opening doors to demons now my house is haunted because of that dumb game thank god we threw it away that game is pure evil if you want to be haunted fine by me but i hope you know what your dealing with that game is not a toy its some kind of portal for demons to get out thats why your friends are scared of it

  11. That game is a stupid game anyways  so you I can kinda understand . But i think it is a very wierd game considering it has no batteries and its somehow moves by it self . WIERED

I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW IT WORK BUT I WOULD FREAK OUT TO IF IT SOMEHOW JUST " MAGICLY MOVES" if ya know what i mean ALL I AM SAYIN IS IT IS FREAKIN' SCARYYYYY

  12. First of all, im 12 so this will seem a bit odd and maybe a lie, but i can assure that its true so please read it. My friends and family see me as a high priest/ witch, because i have an amazing gift to read runes, tarot cards, crystal balls, the i-ching... you get the picture. Although my dad's side of the family are against it (because they think it is evil) i have a 3 ouija boards and 3 angels boards. But on top of me being an obeying sorcerer i am also an extremely strong catholic. I use my rosary to pray each night and each morning. God and his angels are the ones that protect me when i use the boards,  plus in my religion it is supposedly a sin but the priest at my local church was actually the person that gave me my first ouija board, when i was 9, coz he said i have great power. Also i bless houses as an aid to the priest at my roman catholic church. Also, everyone in madeira, portugal ( where i come from) is roman catholic but they reguarly consult fortune tellers ( including me). But as for your question, quite a few religions see it as a sin ( christian, muslim, jewish), because the scriptures say that you are not allowed to contact the dead. And for your friends information, before i ever use a board, i do a little ritual where i pray, bless a crucifix with the four elements and i ask for god's protection. I then keep the cross next to or on the board. I do not advise you to do it alone as some demons who pretend to be good, can come through and they prey on vulnerable people, such as people who do it alone. But it is perfectly safe to do it in a 3 or more. But the fact that you purchased it at toysrus, means it is probably a non-functioning board, infuse with elements that ensure it only ever is really a game. I would get your friends to read this, and then see what they thinks.

Cristo no me vuerte, lord give me peace/ strength

    Good luck x

  13. Certain Christian type religions, everything has to do with the devil and demons to those religions, because they can't take accountability for their own action so they have to blame it on a mythical creature.

However if your friends don't want to play with it don't force them.

  14. if you use it correctly you can unleash evil demons into your home, but as you got it at a kids shop its probably fake.

and its christians as christians don't get haunted by "ghosts" because god and religion some how stops this from happening (doesn't make much sense to me either).

  15. alot of ppl believe that becuase you use it to "speak" to the dead,, that it is evil,, that it's a tool of the devil becuase it's like witch craft.  Most christain religions believe witch craft is sinful and evil and of the devil. Much like horascopes,, taro cards,, haunted houses, halloween, and things like that.

in my opionion it's in how you use it,, and how much you believe in it.  If you are trying to talk to evil ppl or satan then ya I guess it could be sinful,, but if you are just using it for fun and entertainment then,, what's wrong with it?

  16. Here is a link about "The Christian View" but of course it does not represent the beliefs of all Christians

    http://www.talkingboard2u.com/christian-...

And here is a link of superstitions about the Ouija board

    http://www.museumoftalkingboards.com/oui...

I was raised Catholic, and when we found a Ouija board among the games at a lodge where we were staying, I don't remember my mom having any objection to it.  (But the poor board was so old and warped it wasn't usable, anyway!)

  17. i dont no if its much of a sin but like its DANGEROUS.... and something u shouldnt just playy around with some ppl get lucky when theyy play or some ppl get haunted for the rest of there lives. dont play it. your friends are doing the rite thing and you should too.

  18. I don't know what religion but theres no way in h**l ill ever touch one of those thing..I have friends and family have had horrible experiences after using it !

I like to stay away from the demons not bring them into my life thanks !

  19. the first answer is true, any time you try and communicate with the dead, you are pushing God aside and The Lord is your only protection from satan, what will happen when you get what you ask for......

  20. I know christians and jews certainly view ouiji boards ( alone with tarot cards/palm reading, ect) as "sins" simply because it doesn't go alond with what the bible says and doesn't coincide with their beliefs in God. Many even think that it is the devil himslef who tempts us with this "magic" knowledge from the other realm...it certainly cannot be God who is allowing us to "contact" the otherside. In the Old testament, i forget which story, but some guy goes to a soothsayer and gets his fortune told and pretty much all h**l breaks loose and God gets mad at him for doing that. Witchcraft in general is seen as a slap in the face to God because "thou shalt have no God before me". If the christian/jewish god doesn't approve, then obviously practicing such things as playing with your ouiji board is seen as a slap in the face because you don't have the "true" God in mind.

Personally, I don't believe in God or Ouiji boards..but they are fun to s***w around with your friends with!
