  1. It would be a good idea to change the air filter, spark plugs and sparkplug wires, add a fuel injectors cleaner the next time u fill the car up( Lucas is the best one in my opinion, its like $4) And make sure to check ur tire pressure, if its lower than it should be it is screwin ur gas mileage over

  2. Replace the air filter...check tire pressure and add a can of fuel injector cleaner to the gas tank. You will see an increase in MPG

  3. I suggest you put a new air filter on.  It helps.  If it isn't missing, or if the wires look good, I wouldn't worry to much about a tune up.  You could also take one wire off and the spark plug out to look at it see if it looks like it needs new plugs (it shouldn't be oily or corroded) before spending money on something you don't need right now.

  4. If it's been more that 60k since the last tune up , new plugs/wires are in order. Keep in mind that use of the A/C will drop fuel mileage, especially in small cars.

  5. Yes tune up is needed. mabey a fuel cleaner. could even be a pluged up muffler or cat.

  6. does it have any trouble codes, like the oxy sensor?
