Beau Casson is set to become our 20Th wrist spinner in tomorrow nights test...

Ricky has come out and show all confidence in him saying "He deserves his place in the team"...

My question is -How do you think he will stand up to bowling to the likes of Chanderpaul,Bravo and also their retuning captain Chris Gayle??...??

Great to hear that Haddin is fit and is going to play....

Who's going to win this 1????.....

I think it is going to be a very close match,i wont be too surprised if the Windies actually get this win..They have strength now that Gayle is returning...

  1. well firstly, good on Ricky for coming out and saying that Casson deserves his place as it is incredibly for a young player to know he has his captains confidence, personally as you know, i would go with Noffke to come in and Symonds, Clarke and Katich to handle the spin duties, however if the pitch (which at this point i know nothing about) looks like doing a bit for the spinners, then i would change my opinion

but it is very tough to forecast how he will do againist players the quality of Bravo, Gayle and the massive test will be Chanderpaul who is in super form, i think the big thing he will have to use againist them is knowledge, the fact that he will have been told how and where to bowl to these guys and also the knowledge that the Windies have on him, none! he hasnt played on the tour and they have never seen him, it is important he uses that to his advantage. hopefully when his chance comes he will grab it with both hands!

i told you guys before that Haddin would play didnt i, as i said we keepers are a tough bunch! he played the 2nd test with the broken finger there was no doubt he'd play the third with it as well, Haddin will also be a great benefit to Casson as well, being state teammates for so long Haddin knows how he operates and that bit of knowledge will give both of them confidence going into the match

whos going to win, you know what, i'll always back us to win any match, but truth be told, i think the Winides are good enough that they could pull off an upset, i dont think it will happen but i wouldnt pen this one into the win column yet

  2. I think this match winner is WI.

  3. yes...i agree

  4. Gotta hope that he gets a pitch doing a little something.  Give him a little confidence to give a couple a bit of air.  I think that he will do fine.

Never thought that Haddin would relinquish the gloves for a something as trivial as broken finger.  Wikkies only stand aside when the injury is dire, like death :-)

Mitchell will come back to form, find some penetration. Lee will charge in and Casson will make great debut.  Aussies to win in four days. How's that for confidence?

  5. my opinion is ange,..though west indies,...in certain good form a spinner can come up with goods~saying so,. it is very tough to forecast how he will perform  against players the quality of , Gayle, Sarvan , Bravo and the acid  test will be Shiv  who is in sublime touch, i think the better  thing he will have to use againist them is ,.

.The famous mind game,... as worne and most Ausie spinners used,..LOL~

  6. sweetie, don't send Beau to India otherwise his career will be eradicated before the start , a fair advise to the aussie !

WI is going to win this,  Chris Gayle will belt them all around the carribean for leather hunt, LMAO !

  7. Time will tell, but I hope he is up to it. I hadn't heard the final word on Haddin & was just about to post a Q re him & Ronchi.
