He is not hungry, no trapped gas, we try soothing him, letting him cry a little...

Any ideas...

Will this phase pass or is it a habit...??

  1. You are lucky to get 45 minutes!  Mine only slept maybe 5 minutes each nap, about 2 naps a day until she was 6 months old.  All I can say is that it is a phase, b/c I thought something was wrong with my baby.  She slept good at night, but didn't take naps at all during the day for 6 whole months!  It will pass, Don't worry.

  2. First go to the doctors

second play with him until he gets tired and goes to sleep

third play around with is food eat it if u can then try giving it to him.

  3. Is he a good sleeper at night? My little one very seldomly sleeps during the day.  Maybe a 20 minute nap here or there but shes a great sleeper at night.  Maybe he's just not sleepy during the day. At least thats what everyone used to tell me.  We began going to Gymboree 3 times a week at the same tim each day and that helped to set our schedule. It helped my daughter establish a nap schedule for the first time.
