I've heard that a lot of peoples' games did not come with instructions. Hmm..manufacturing...

Apparently, for those who do have the instructions, they are confusing and ridiculous, making gameplay tedious and difficult. I can't speak from experience, but maybe you'll get a sense of how to play from looking at these links since you can have the game in front of you while reading things over online.
