Our Boy Jack likely to win Euros Handicap
Our Boy Jack looks to be in the most favourable position to claim the title of Betfred Double Delight On The Euros Handicap, a high-stakes Class 3 contest that is going to be held at Sandown racecourse on Saturday, June 16. The event is scheduled to start
at 4:30 (GM).
The Richard Fahey-trained bay gelding has proved his class confidently on different critical occasions. Debuting in April 2011, the young and energetic gelding gained three 4th positions in a row.
The three-year-old maverick runner managed to break his maiden in August 2011. He extended this form to 2012 as well and finished as a runner-up in Good Luck To Hibs Tomorrow Handicap that went down at Hamilton track on May 18.
On May 25, the brilliant son of Camacho out of Jina marvellously notched up first position in Faster Greener Central Taxis Handicap at Musselburgh park. This was indeed a magnificent success.
The talented horse again gained a runner-up position in his last outing on June 4. He had been a hot favourite runner in each of his last two starts.
In Euros Handicap, Our Boy Jack is going to face half a dozen worthy rivals such as Shamaal Nibras, Tartiflette, Cravat, Cockney Dancer, Tip Top Gorgeous and Delft.
On the soft course of 7 furlongs and 16 yards, the gelding will unleash an electric pace while pursuing the prize cheque worth £9,338.
Almost equally capable to Our Boy Jack is Delft who too poses to be a strong contender for victory. The Jeremy Noseda-trained bay filly has 50 percent success ratio to her name.
Starting her career with 4th spot in October 2011, the novice runner broke her maiden in the month of December. She also gained a runner-up rank during the same month.
In her last outing on May 29, 2012, the daughter of Dutch Art out of Plucky elegantly finished first against a dozen of competitors. She was an 11-8 favourite for that race.
In this situation, there is likely to be a rip-roaring and neck-to-neck battle between Our Boy Jack and Delft. Let us enjoy the amazing action live at Sandown. Good luck to all the runners.
