We think he is too old for a pillow. We would like something creative by tasteful. Any suggestions for us?

  1. Let him come down the aisle in heely's...he'll love it and it's something a 5 year old would s***w up! lol....find out something that the bride groom both love and use that....make it fun for the kid...maybe even a happly meal box, a flower/rose with rings tied to it.....a container designed to look like something...(popcorn box, pictures all over it with your first date place, antying).....

  2. I've seen the Ring Bearer carry a teddy bear.  It was very cute!

  3. In a beautifully decorated crystal or silver tray, with two roses on the side. It'll make beautiful pictures.

  4. Ours carried them in a small treasure box that we bought at Michaels and that my mom had covered with white silk and ribbon. It was very neat-looking, and very inexpensive!

For an example of the type of treasure box I mean, click here - http://www.bconnex.net/~zirgo/treasure/t...

You could decorate it to suit your own tastes or to match your wedding colors.

  5. You could put the rings in a nice little jewelry box.

  6. Our ring bearer was 9 but we called him a junior groomsman. I thought he is a little old to be called a ring bearer. Anyways, he walked down with the flower girl who was his sister and didnt carry anything. The best man carried the rings. This is an option if you want to make it simple. If it is important to you to have him carry the rings, you could put them in a nice box or a pullstringed bag.

  7. I know at my cousin's wedding, the ring bearer was about 7. They still had the pillow, but with fake rings sewn on to the middle of it. Then the husband just carried the real bands in his pocket until the time came to place them on each other's fingers. Good luck with your wedding!

  8. Maybe a satin bag would be cute...

good luck on your future marrige!

  9. What about hanging them from his boutonniere with wedding lace.  Or have him carry a bible instead of the pillow.  Good Luck!

  10. in the center of a large flower like a sunflower

loop them on a ribbon and tie a bow at the end and have him carry that

a ring box in either hand

tied onto a step of a single rose

  11. Check home decor stores and places like hobby lobby.  You can find some beautiful boxes out of all sorts of materials.

Perhaps you can use a nice carved wooden one then give it to him after the wedding as part of his gifts?  My brother always liked having boxes to stash his treasures in.

  12. We’re really into baseball and tied a couple of fake rings to the laces of my husband’s favorite glove. It was a big hit.

  13. tie them on a ribbon and onto the stem of two color coordinated roses. or if you have a theme use something included in your theme.

  14. ok just get a male Chipendales dancer as the ring boy and put the ring on his well you get the rest.

  15. My DiL's half brother carried a small wooden treasure chest I painted white.  Added a little puffiness (pillow) inside to attach the fake rings to.

Got it at Hobby Lobby/Michael's Crafts.
