Our billionaires of today's modern world did it? Why can't we?

I am just thinking, Why do we have to read, study and waste time reading others discoveries and how they view the world instead of building our own discoveries from our perspectives, that way we could lead instead of follow? I am just wondering about how did education really start, there were no books or asigned reading to discover something. The first human beings to start this basically thought out everything without books or school.

But how did the people who started science and education come to their conclusion when there was no books back then? And look at all our billionaires, where almost half of them are college dropouts without a degree or higher education.

In today's modern society, many people display signs of laziness. Most people don't want to do things for themselves but rather have someone figure it out/do it for them.

If you've noticed, the advances that we have made (technology wise) has caused many Americans to rely on a machine rather than their own mind power.

The individuals that do make it as billionaires are one of the few that are diligent, determined, consistent and take initiative to make the world a better place.

So you are just wondering about how education really started.

Well the purpose of education (school as it is incorrectly called) is to teach you to work for the rich.  It’s in the history books but you see teachers do not research their beginnings in the vast majority of cases.  Just because you went to school doesn’t mean you are educated.

Example: Benjamin Franklin only had a sixth grade (schooling) he was self-educated. If you read his biography it will change your life forever.

Well now -

Bill Gates would be nowhere without the greats he built upon. The computer as we know it - that Gates built his empire upon was built using the knowledge and ideas of those before him.

Atanasoff and Berry - konrad Zuse found they could build a machine in the model of the great thinking machines of the times before them.

Alan Turing whos algorithms are key to the entire industry followed in the footsteps  of those who dealt with automata. Charles Babbage could be considred working in the same area long before the thought of a computer was around.

Where would any of this all be without the math of Al-Kwharizmi who himself revised Ptolemy

The key is No *one* person can do anything without improving upon the invention of the past. There is something virtuous about the "I can handle anything" attitude, however not giving credit to the importance and power of the past is shameful.

Isaac Newton himself said "If I have seen further it is by standing on ye shoulders of Giants"

then discover something. billionares ares billionares because they introduce something to the world that was never seen before. if you could do something like that then youd be rich too.
