Our cat is standing right now in front of the window, wailing horribly. What could be wrong with him?

He seems to be communicating with something out there, but I can't figure out what it is. Could it be another tom? Should I let him out? (BTW, he has been neutered, but I swear sometimes he behaves as if he hasn't) Help please...

u cld just let him out side and wach 2 c wat he does honestly he cld just REALLY want 2 go out ooooooor he can hear a sound wich humans cant hear because it cld b in a different frequency

Even if he's neutered, he could be reacting to a female in heat.

could be a bird in the tree or anything. I wouldn't let him out until you know what he's looking at. Mockingbirds love to dive bomb kitties

I can't stand at the window with your cat, but usually it is another cat that illicits that kind of response. Could be a female in heat; don't tell me that he can't be interested because he is neutered: he may still be intrigued, even though he is "unable". If this behavior continues, especially in areas where there are no windows, take your cat to the vet. His hormones may be a bit hyper-active.

hes probally just in heat .    even tho hes fixed ,  due to hormones ,  certain cats can still become " in heat "  even when spayed or neutered .

My cat does that when he sees another cat or a raccoon. I wouldn't let him out because he could be seriously injured in a fight with either of those animals.

Haha, my cat does that whenever she sees a bird she can't get from inside, so no worries.
