some are horizontal when they should be vertical.

They are moments that can't be recaptured ... is there a way to rotate these clips like you can with photographs ... or is this impossible to do?

Thank you.

  1. You should be able to do it.

  2. Also, if you're just looking for a way to play them quickly w/o having to (re)encode them or anything, you might check out VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) .

Open up a file with VLC , CTRL+G for extended GUI (more stuff at the bottom appears), check (select) "Transformation." Video should play rotated.

*If it's the wrong way, CTRL+S for preferences, then video->filters->transformation and choose what transformation type you want.

    Good luck!

  3. yes .

download them into a photo program.

there by using the rotation icon (2 bent arrows) you can turn them,

    hope this helps

ask if you need more help

  4. Import them into windows movie maker, select video effects > rotate 90* finally click on Publish Movie tab > save to my computer

  5. right click on the photo and rotate clockwise or counter clockwise

  6. i had the same problem but i downloaded gom player for free and it sorted itself out i did not need to do anything else its the best program i have ever used and you can even capture a single frame and print it as a photo

just try it as its free if you don't think its the best program ever just delete   it but i bet once you try gomplayer you will love it
