  1. lynnwood, shoreline, edmonds, bothell area is good for family and is safe and tons of activities. they are all short drives away from eachother. and its like 25-30 min away from seattle (with good to no traffic :P)

  2. best: eastside (bellevue, redmond, issaquah, kirkland)

    better: bothell, lynnwood

my husband's from hawaii... and our apartment manager is also from hawaii =) we live in bellevue... and while it's expensive, we won't leave this place. it's really safe and really family friendly. but it's still cheaper than honolulu though.

  3. What sort of price range are you looking at?  Better yet, are you looking at buying or renting here?  There are a lot of areas of Washington that are safe and have good jobs here.  Washington has a pretty strong economy, so you should be able to find a good job in the Seattle metropolitan area pretty easily, assuming you are qualified.  Some areas that I really like that are outside of Seattle itself that are safe and have "good family values and activities are:  Edmonds, Kirkland, Redmond, and Mukilteo.  These are all nice places that are quite nice and enjoy peaceful quiet, haha...  Redmond is also home to Nintendo of America and Microsoft, which have many jobs!

  4. if you want safe dont go to th central district of seattle or the southend and stay far away from tacoma it depends on how much your willing to pay bellevue is a nice area but it expensive the central district isnt that dangerous in places and i used to live there and i my rent was 1700 for a 4 bedroom house so that might work for you and then theres the northend good schools and things like that the houses are nice idk how much they go for but its around the same price as the central district and then there is shoreline that mor of a suburb but its still close to seattle less then ten minutes so its a good place to live now if i were you i would move down to new holly in the southend its a nice place to live plus there putting in a commuter train so it would be easy to get downtown and to your job its pretty cheap and you can get your kid in to international schools in the northend because there schools have better academics i hope you like seattle
