You have to consider the possibility that God never wanted you. In all probability he hates you. If we are God's unwanted children, then so be it.

  1. If you’re male and you’re Christian and living in America, your father is your model for God.

If your father opts to leave your family through divorce or separation, or is never home and has no part in your life, it tells you that God doesn't care about you. It tells you that what you do doesn't matter to God.

I'm not saying that God doesn't care about you. There's no way for me to prove if there is or is not a God. Nor can I prove how much (or little) he cares about any certain individual.

I'm saying that Christian boys growing up in America look up to their father as the supreme authority. How their father treats them shapes their attitude, outlook, and understanding of life. I'm saying that growing up with a dead-beat father teaches boys that what they do doesn't matter because nobody cares about their actions.
