Our former renters have filed a motion to stop a levy on certain property the court has acquired.

They state a third party isinvolved but I have a copy of the certificate of leins on said properties and the only third party is a auto finance company on one of the vehilces! I have already evicted these people,attained judgment and then won an appeal that they requested! I have lost time at work plus the mileage and wear and tear on my vehicle! Do they have a case and can I demand more as judgment if they don't! They also took property that doesn't belong to them of which I want the court to have them return the value of since they have possibly sold them,gave them away or use them as collateral.

  1. Sounds like some losers know enough about the law to make your life h**l.

    You may need to get an attorney to stop the harassment.


  2. Lucky you -- you have found yourself a tenant that knows how to use the law to their advantage.

    Please follow this through in court, no matter how difficult it becomes.  That is the only way to stop people like this.  Make sure to keep track of every single penny you have lost becuase of their actions.  Get a lawyer, and countersue them.
