  1. Is this your first summer using the well?  Many home wells run dry in summer.  If it's not that, it's probably a bad seal somewhere in the pumping system.  You need a sealed system, any kind of leak lets in air and leads to lowered water pressure.

  2. Go to the tank. Turn off the pump, drain the tank, leaving it about 2/3 full. With an air compressor or portable air tank find the air valve stem on the tank. Put air in the tank, about 30 pounds pressure.Turn the water on and see if this solves your problem. Your pressure gauge on the tank should go up to around 60 psi.

  3. Here again, most everyone assumes that every well system in the world is the same, uses the same equipment, is the same depth, used the same way.  Not true.  When you ask a question for help, it's a good idea to give as much info as possible about the system so as to allow those who may help, to identify what you have.   It sounds like you may have an older air over water resevoir that needs an air volume control to keep the proper amount of air above the water.  The air is what gets compressed so that the water flows out when you open a tap.  If you do have a small round, usually silver, item screwed into either the side or the end of the tank, then it's most likely blown the small diaphram that's inside.   It's not tough to change and costs about $15.  You'll need some tape on the threads and sometimes they can be removed with a large screwdriver used as a lever.     The air thing happens to my well about once a  year.

  4. your pump it not getting enough water if you drop the pump down the well more this will stop for some people don't put the pump in the well at the right dept
