Our house guest..... the slug?

Question

I have searched my house high and low, I have camped out in my living room and I have set up our veido camera .... and I cant find a slug. We wake up and there is slug trails all over our rug in our dinning room and we can not find the danm slug anywhere... beer didnt bring him out (although the dogs liked it lol) but please if you have any ideas on how we can trap him please help!! we cant use slug bait because we have kids and animals but any other ideas to get the little bugger out of our house would be apperciated!
