she has stated several days that we werent even here!!! looks as though she blames us for every bit of noise, also says we have wild parties....we had a Sunday lunch with approx 15 people an 6 kids and came to complain, she says that her other neighbour cant sell his house because of us!!! Our property is the tidiest in the street and apparently the noisiest...wouldnt have anything to do with the interest rates why he cant sell?

  2. Too bad for her. She should move. Document her behavior for a possible harassment suit.

  3. ...I am sorry this has actually happened to my family before.

A lady 7 houses away came all the way to our house to complain about the noise at ona my birthday partys, so my dad went next door to ask if the noise was to loud, and he said "No, ofcourse not. I didn't even know you were home."

She is just one f those people who dont like noise ... or she just doesn't like you.... >_< sorry , lol maybe you can go over to her house and talk about it, OO or maybe she is jealous she isnt invited to those partys.... maybe...

  4. Tell her her mouth makes to much noise on your property and your tired of it.

  5. Your neighbours are miserable and they're just looking for someone to blame.

As far the the other neighbour not being able to sell his house, the housing market is down everywhere.

    Good luck

  6. mkjm104 is right. Nobody has the right to deny another person the right to the peaceful and quiet enjoyment of their home. You can be sued for nuisance and harrasment. Especially if you live in a subdivision and it's in your HOA agreement.  Loss of a sell of a house and diminished property values can be quiet costly. Here you have disclose the fact that there is noise when you sell a house or risk being sued yourself. My neighbors do the same thing and I have no problem with taking their money to enforce my right to the peaceful and quiet enjoyment of my home. You might want to check your noise ordinance laws.

  7. 1. his house is either not appealing , or no one is just looking at the moment.

    2. also real astate is losing money

  8. I am bracing myself for the thumbs down....

Although it is legal, running motorbikes around the property is one of the most annoying things a neighbor can bear.  Imagine if when you wanted to enjoy your property and have a Sunday Lunch you had a neighbor who ran the lawn mower constantly.  The noise does not stop at the property line.  The fact that she always points to you just illustrates her level of frustration with the noise. Police can't fix it, its not illegal to be thoughtless.  Your assertion that interest rates are the reason another neighbor cannot sell?  I would agree but not for the reason you think.  If I had to pay the a high rate to live there just for the privilege of being serenaded by small engines, I would not buy either -  no matter how pretty your place looked.  You don't mention how you are sooo considerate to not be out there before 10am on Sunday or never after 8pm or no more the 4 hours a day or anything.  Just that it is our private property ( i can do what I want when I want hah, so there) -

I hear these stories all the time and the noise makers don't care how disruptive they are.  Only that they are within their rights.  They are quick to point out the 2 or 3 times they were not at fault and refuse to ackowledge the 150 times they were noisy and annoying.
