Our phone number is withheld,i tried ringing a number this morning but it wont accept calls from a withheld?

number is there a number i can put infront so my call will be taken

*82 is the most usual code in North America.

1470 for the U.K.

142 if you are in the Irish Republic.

All sorts of other codes elsewhere!

It used to be 1470 if calling from a BT line but don't know if this has changed.

use *82 to ask to be accepted!!

Try 140 or 141 before  the number I knew some1 who wouldn't accept witheld no's and i'm sure i had to put one of the numbers above in front. Wether it was just a number personally to them i don't know.
