Our pick for boy & girl names

Question

Hey! I'm 10 weeks pg so we dont know if its a boy or girl yet. These are the names we've picked out.....girl- Kathryn Sophia (it means "pure wisdom" i love it!!).....boy- Xander Cage..... Anyways just thought i'd get thoughts from people. I know alot of people are going to think Cage is odd but i think thats why we like it...it had to grow on me!

Kathryn is way too popular and I don't like sophia, it's becoming very popular too. Zander is unique though.

i love Kathryn Sophia but Xander Cage is like trying to sound too macho...

try Alexander instead.

i love Kathryn Sophia ! i like how you spelled it ryn instead of rine at the end, makes it a little more modern !

xander cage : cage sounds like a last name, wouldnt use it unless it's a family name. xander is a nickname for alexander and it also sounds like a nickname. i think alexander is more appropriate and xander is a cute nickname. he may grow out of the name xander so that's why you should use alexander

I absolutely love Kathryn Sophia! It's beautiful. Xander Cage is unique. I would personally go with Alexander and call him Xander (or spelled Zander) for short. Xander is a very trendy name now, but it may not be in the future. Then he'll be able to go by Xander, Alex, or Alexander if he so chose, just as Kathryn could be Kathy. Also, I'd spell Cage K-A-G-E. Kage seems to work better for a name than Cage.

I think they are 2 good names for your children, and unique  & special are what your children will be because they are a gift from God to you+ your husband, so Cage, sounds fantastic!Congratulations!! On your birth of your child early from me(granny 5)
