Question:

Our rugby team...?

Our D2 college rugby team has a chance of winning nationals this year except that we have one weak point: our flyhalf. He is a senior, and he has been captain for two years and been starting for three years. He has really ballooned in weight and it is safe to say he is the slowest of the 30 players on the field. Everybody just assumes that he has his starting spot, but alot of the guys think that it's time for a change. He is also a great guy. How do you think we can go about this---talk to the coach or the new captain or the other backs or what? I'm also a sophomore and the starting #9.

  1. If you are sure a lot of the guys think the same way, you may be best off talking to the coach about it.

Give the coach some time to think about it and discuss it with other people who may have an interest in the club.  Do not leave it to the last minute to bring up though.

If you can get the group of guys to come with you to see the coach, it may help more.

  2. tell him .he is  cut and find a better outhalf
